May 8 will see the release of Drokk, a concept album about Judge Dredd’s hometown Mega-City One by composer Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow, the producer of famed “best soundtrack to bittersweet break-up sex in the world” band Portishead. (That’s not a slight by the way, I just refuse to use the term “trip-hop.”) 2000 AD is apparently tickled about this project, which will join Anthrax’s “I Am The Law” in the pantheon of Dredd-themed ditties.
