Busy production houses run through a lot of hard disk space, and now the Pro Sled for the Mac Pro offers a solution to that problem, giving you virtually unlimited disk space. Attach each individual drive to one of these drive sleds and then you can easily swap them out, plugging them directly into the speedy Mac Pro main logic board.
What’s the catch? Well, you can’t hot swap them—you must turn off your Mac Pro before you change the drives, but still, you can have a completely different set of drives quickly swapped out for your next client, and no one’s the wiser. They’re $29 apiece, and get cheaper the more you buy. Cool stuff.
