Have you had the pleasure of watching the wonderful BBC series, Life? You probably have. Beautiful HD nature docs provide the perfect visual background for any living room activity. And as many have discovered, they play even better when muted and paired with a soundtrack of your choosing.
Tobi Totschlag has undertaken the task of curating some of his favorite songs and pairing them with scenes from BBC’s Life. My favorite is Radiohead’s “Sit Down, Stand Up” playing over the Ibex scene. The footage provides a nice balance of rhythm and tension that compliments the track. Ah, it’s like the pairing of fine wines.
