No matter what rumors you may read online, there aren’t any concrete plans for a sequel to The Dark Knight just yet, according to producer Charles Roven, who told reporters, “I can’t speak to that right now… We are excited about the possibility of something coming together, but we’re definitely in the stage where we’re just thinking about it. Chris [Nolan, Dark Knight director] is really the one who is thinking on it.” Expect that last sentence to be turned into a “Nolan already planning Dark Knight sequel” headline before I’ve finished typing this sentence.
