Is author Daniel H. Wilson on his way to becoming Hollywood’s next Philip K Dick? First his unpublished robot uprising novel Robopocalpyse gets picked up by Steven Spielberg. And now Wilson’s latest work, Amped has been scooped up by the Dark City director Alex Proyas.

THR is reporting that Proyas is attached to direct Amped his latest cyborg thriller. The book is heavily involved with nanotech-enhanced people who are embroiled in a lifelong battle with regular non-cyber punked humans. You can actually tead the first three chapters of Amped here.
