It’s a new year and it’s about damn time I had a slave helper robot to clean the bathroom and take out the trash for me. Romi comes close, but probably not close enough for my liking. It’s able to follow simple commands in the form of “Romi: action,” like “Romi, place this banana peel on the stairs.” The robot’s “eyes” can wirelessly send whatever it sees back to a computer, which is a nice perk. There’s one more frighteningly large picture after the jump.
Supposedly Romi will make an appearance at CES. “Romi, tie Travis’ shoe laces together.” Hopefully Romi will ensure that the laughs keep coming.
