Sprint and Samsung think that access to a 4G network shouldn’t be limited to handsets that will require you to take out a small loan in order to purchase. Enter the Conquer, a $100 Android handset with WiMax power.

Though it runs Android 2.3, the Conquer’s guts are purely pedestrian (3.5-inch screen, 1GHz processor, 3.2-megapixel camera). But for those who want a phone that doesn’t take half an hour to load Facebook and Twitter and Maps, the Conquer would probably do just fine. It can be yours on August 21. [Sprint]
