It represents Samsung s first foray into the world of Serial ATA drives, the current evolution in hard drive interfaces. The drive sticks to an 8-megabyte buffer, as opposed to the now trendy 16-megabyte. Its 7200 rpm performance is acceptable, but its price ($90 for the 200-gig model) certainly makes it an intriguing offer.
