The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, an 11-inch display, quad Dolby Atmos speakers, and expandable storage is down to $169, off its $299 list price and at its record low on Amazon. Nearly two times cheaper than Apple’s entry tablet, and it covers everything most families actually use a tablet for. You need Prime to access this one, but the 30-day trial is there if you are not already a member, no card required.

The tablet most families actually need

The Galaxy Tab A11+ is built around the use cases that define how most households interact with a tablet: streaming movies and shows on a large screen, video calls with family, kids’ games and educational apps, browsing, and light productivity tasks. The 11-inch 1920×1200 display at 90Hz handles all of those with smooth, natural motion, and the quad speaker system with Dolby Atmos delivers audio that fills a room rather than the flat, thin sound that most tablets produce from a single downward-firing driver. For a family tablet that sits on the coffee table or travels with the kids, those are the specifications that matter in daily life.

Google Gemini provides on-device AI assistance for everyday tasks, and Circle to Search lets anyone search anything visible on screen instantly without switching apps or typing a query. The 5MP front camera handles video calls with enough clarity to see expressions and detail clearly, and the slim, light chassis makes it comfortable to hold for extended sessions whether reading, gaming, or watching. Expandable storage via microSD removes the anxiety of running out of space as the app library and media downloads grow.

Fast charging, long battery, 2-year warranty

The long-lasting battery with fast charging covers a full day of mixed use and gets back to 100% quickly when it finally needs a top-up, which matters for a household device that multiple people use throughout the day without planning charging windows around it. Samsung backs the Tab A11+ with a 2-year warranty, longer than the standard 1-year coverage Apple offers on iPads, and the Android ecosystem covers every app the household is likely to need including Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Spotify, and the full Google suite.

The 4.6-star average across over 1,300 reviews and 10,000-plus units sold last month reflect a tablet that has landed well with buyers who wanted a capable family device without the iPad price tag. At $169 at its record low, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ is cheaper than most standalone Bluetooth speakers and about what two months of streaming subscriptions costs, for a device that handles all of them.

Apple’s entry iPad at $299 does more in some areas, particularly for creative apps and Apple ecosystem integration. But for the vast majority of families who stream, browse, video call, and hand the tablet to the kids, the Tab A11+ at $169 closes that gap to a point where the extra $130 becomes very difficult to justify. Three times cheaper is not a rounding error. It is a different product tier at a price that makes the iPad look like a premium decision rather than a default one.
