Samsung Makes the 43-Inch Frame TV Pointless, the 55-Inch Model Now Costs Exactly the Same

Samsung's art-display TV costs the same in 55 inches as in 43.

Switched off, most televisions are a black rectangle that the rest of the living room has to be arranged around. Samsung built The Frame for people who mind that, and the 2025 model is cheaper than usual, as the 55-inch Samsung The Frame LS03F (2025) goes from $1,097.99 to $797.99 on Amazon. The price is the same for every customer, with no Prime membership required, and it concerns the TV-only style.

Matte Screen, Flush Mount, One Cable

Everything about the hardware is meant to make the set pass for a picture. The panel is slim and sits flush against the wall on Samsung’s Slim Fit Wall Mount, which is named in the product title. Power and devices plug into an external hub, and only one wire runs from that hub to the screen, so the usual bundle of HDMI and power cables stays in a cabinet. Bezels can be swapped to match the furniture, though Samsung attaches a footnote to that point and I’d assume the alternative frames cost extra.

Then comes Art Mode, which is what happens when you stop watching. The screen displays a painting or a photograph, surrounded by a digital mat whose style and color you choose. Images come from Samsung’s Art Store, a curated collection with its own conditions, or from your own photos, which opens the door to holiday pictures, a scan of a child’s drawing or a rotation of family portraits for when the grandparents visit. What makes the illusion work is the surface: Samsung describes it as virtually glare-free, with a matte texture that gives artwork the look of a print on paper. For a room with a window facing the TV wall, that finish is useful well beyond the art.

As a television, the LS03F is a 4K QLED set driven by Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, with picture and sound processing grouped under the Vision AI label. Gamers get variable refresh rate at up to 4K 144Hz, which also helps with fast sports, and Alexa is built in. My reservation is the obvious one: part of what you pay for here is the design, and somebody who only wants the best picture for the money and doesn’t care what the wall looks like at noon is not the intended buyer. For everyone else, 55 inches is the size that fits most living room walls without turning the “painting” into a billboard.

Amazon adds a few services around the purchase. Delivery to the room of your choice with unpacking is currently free where it usually costs $29.99, professional wall-mounting is offered as a paid add-on at $239.99 without the mounting hardware, and haul-away of an old TV is available for a fee. Returns are possible for 30 days, and new users get one month of Xbox Game Pass. The rating is 4.3 out of 5, based on 261 reviews so far.

Size is worth a second look before ordering, because the 55-inch The Frame is $797.99 on Amazon against a list price of $1,097.99, which is exactly what the 43-inch model costs on the same page. The 50-inch is listed at $747.99 and the 65-inch at $1,097.99. No Prime membership is needed for any of them.
