Check out the latest and greatest addition to the Christmas horror flicks:Rare Exports, a film where Santa is trotted around like the raptors in Jurassic Park. Also, Transfers teaches us you don't need to get old, just rent younger bodies.

Rare Exports

Behold evil meth-face Santa from Rare Exports. We're not actually sure what Old Saint Nick did that would cause him to be locked forever in a mountain up North, but it can't be good. This yuletide horror film follows what happens when a group of exporters uncover a still alive Santa Claus, entombed for the Easter-Bunny-knows-how-many years. The trailer looks pretty slick, and you gotta love the naked stills of skinny Santa below. And to any haters, can it with the "Futurama did it first." He's clearly not a robot. The film will have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest.

Who needs to get old when you're rich enough to rent out a younger body for 20 hours a day? Although it's probably not ideal if you're the one being rented. Take a peek at the stills from Damir Lukacevic's movie Transfer, which will also have it's world premiere at Fantastic Fest.

Official Synopsis:

Herman and Anna, a wealthy aging couple decides to extend their lives by leasing the bodies of two young Africans. For one million euros, the Africans signed away their lives for 20 hours a day, but in the 4 hours a day they have back in their own bodies, they begin to regret the arrangement.

Side Note: Another film that we're equally excited about playing at Fantastic Fest this year is Agnosia. Go watch the trailer, because it's gosh darn gorgeous.

The trailer for the German film NYDENION has been seemingly in progress since 2007, but we're glad to see that this project is finally moving forward, even if it's just a step. The movie takes place far in a future where man lives on many different planets and space stations. Naturally there's a space war going on between two empires, and the dashing pilot protagonist Rick is stuck in the middle, as these dashing pilots so often are. Thanks to Quiet Earth for pointing out the latest update.

Official Synopsis:

The story is set in the distant future, mankind has spread out into space. Over the course of centuries the early colonies have evolved into giant empires, battling for supremacy for the last 75 years. Peace is long forgotten and earth is just a legend...

Rick Walker, former fighter pilot turned disillusioned freelance flyer is hired to transport a mysterious woman to the site of a secret peace negotiation. Walkers and Perkins' way becomes a fight against time as they are attacked by an enemy that seems to come from the ranks of their own military, an enemy that Walker knows all too well.

Wait no longer Mallika Sherawat fans. The trailer to her sexy man eating snake lady film Hisss is finally out. We've said this from the first still, wrapping Sherawat in snake skin and watching her feast on the entrails of bad men will never be boring. We don't know when this is screening in the US, but when we find out, you'll be the first to know.

We've been stalking artist Malcolm Sutherland ever since his two Star Wars Uncut clips gave us the giggly heebie-jeebies. His enchantingly haunting videos never cease to amaze and his latest short Umbra, is no exception. Enjoy.
