Sega terminates the Treamcast. Or at least tries to

Sega is striking back against the “Treamcast”, an apparently unauthorized portable version of their Dreamcast game console that can be found in Hong Kong that also plays MP3s and VideoCDs in addition to games. Now we can certainly understand Sega’s ire, but since they’ve discontinued the Dreamcast, the only thing that the Treamcast is doing is stimulating demand for their games. Whoever is building these is using Sega made components, so it’s not like Sega’s getting entirely ripped off. They should either be grateful that someone is doing them a favor and for some nominal fee license whatever it is they need to license to make the Treamcast an honest console, or just look the other way.
