Mangools offers “juicy SEO tools you will love.” Quite a crafty description on its website. It’s been around since 2014, offering 5 SEO tools that should, in theory, cover all the basics of SEO. In this Mangools review for 2026, our goal is to put all the claims to the test.
We’re aware that this isn’t the best option around. It’s not the worst either. Mangools comes with some of the most affordable plans. Yet, it seems to be quite capable of keyword research, competitive analysis, rank-tracking, and even backlink research.
With the starting price of $29.90, you’re surely getting your money’s worth. Or are you? This is a key question we’ll tackle in our in-depth review of Mangools. Let’s analyze its 5 SEO tools and report on our findings after using Mangools for over a year every day.
Mangools
Mangools' five SEO tools work like a charm, falling short of more in-depth information, with rather basic functions. Its low prices are a redeeming factor. However, with the lack of site auditing, content marketing, and local SEO tools, it's hardly going to meet all your demands.
Pros
- Very easy to use and set up
- KWFinder offers plenty of keyword suggestions
- SERPWatcher updates keyword rankings daily
- Impressively low prices ($29.90/mo)
Cons
- It lacks a Site Audit tool
- Poor Competitor Analysis functions
- Underwhelming free plan
- No Content Marketing
Mangools Pricing & Plans
The most appealing aspect of Mangools is its affordability. More feature-rich options like Semrush or SE Ranking cost more. Indeed, you have to spend more for more comprehensive SEO improvements. However, Mangools should satisfy your needs – if they’re basic.
Speaking of basics, the Basic plan starts at $29.90 a month. It’s roughly $230 annually and this plan offers access to every tool. The limitations you’ll encounter are on the “shorter” side, as you can perform only 100 daily keyword lookups and track 200 of them.
The plan also includes 200 keyword suggestions per search, which, in our book, is more than enough. The Premium plan bumps the price to $44.90/mo, offering 500 keyword lookups and 700 daily tracked keywords.
This plan is our top pick; it even includes 3 user seats.

The final offer is the Mangools Agency plan. Despite being the priciest, it costs $89.90/mo and packs 1,500 trackable keywords, 1,200 daily keyword lookups, unlimited competitor keywords per search, and 5 user seats. Mangools is undoubtedly pretty cost-effective.
However, we don’t see its Premium and Agency plans as particularly worthy. SE Ranking starts at $52/mo but offers way more, including functions like site audits, on-page SEO, and an AI Writer; more about that later on. The Agency plan is also questionable.
At just about $25 more, you can enjoy Semrush Pro and get a load of SEO tools that offer plenty compared to Mangools’ rather basic features. Either way, Mangools offers a 48-hour money-back guarantee in case you want to switch sides and try SE Ranking or Semrush.
Mangools Review of Features & SEO Tools
After our quick Mangools analysis of its pricing, let’s jump right into the meat of the subject. You’re likely shocked at how affordable this software is; rightfully so. But does the positive shock factor persist as we review Mangools and its features? Let’s see…
KWFinder
KWFinder is Mangools’ most popular tool. As the name implies, it’s used for keyword research. There are two ways you can go about it. During our Mangools test, we mostly used its search-by-keyword function. Here, we provided a keyword that the tool will analyze.
You can select the location and language as well, in which case, KWFinder will promptly display the results. Additional filters are there, so you can add included keywords, number of words, keyword difficulty ranges, PPC, search volume ranges, and so forth.

These filters can help detect long-tail keywords, as well. This is handy if you aim to rank for specific terms and longer key phrases that often have a more forgiving difficulty score. Mangools KWFinder offers plenty of keyword data; PPC and CPC are included here.
The KD score is based on the LPS or Link Profile Strength of URLs ranking in the 1st SERP. It’s not the most accurate, for that matter. The “SEO Tools” keyword is rated 62/100. This keyword is VERY hard to rank for, which Semrush signals better with a score of 90+.

Searching by domain will display the ranking keywords of the domain in question. You’ll get the same parameters. One parameter we haven’t mentioned in the Mangools review is Trend. It displays the keyword’s popularity over time, which is another useful metric.
KWFinder is sufficient for basic keyword research needs; you’ll need much better keyword research software if you want more. There are no functions like a keyword gap, keyword clustering, and other tidbits found in SE Ranking, Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and others.
That’s not to say KWFinder doesn’t function well. It does. But it needs more of a punch.
SERPWatcher
Mangools doesn’t bode well in the presence of bigger boys. However, rank-tracking is pretty simple and is usually done respectably even by smaller SEO tools. As we tested the provider for this review of Mangools, we discovered that SERPWatcher works exquisitely.
It’s a simple-to-use rank tracker that you can set up in seconds. Provide the keywords you want to track, add the location, and enter your domain address. Optionally, you can select the platform; mobile or desktop. After that, SERPWatcher will quickly assess everything.

You’ll see your keywords and their shifting ranks. Mangools will precisely tell you how the rankings are affected, with average and best rankings displayed. There’s also going to be a search volume metric, coupled with the performance index and visibility.
If you require an SEO tool for rank-tracking, SERPWatcher’s offers should be sublime. We love the Top Gainers and Top Losers section where you’ll see the best and worst-performing keywords. Furthermore, there’s the keyword position distribution table and graph.

You’ll see the percentage of your keywords ranking in the top 1, top 3, top 10, and up to top 101 results in SERPs. Clicking on individual keywords will unblock more data. You’ll find their position history and ranking URLs, helping you determine which pages drive the keywords’ rankings the most.
Overall, SERPWatcher doesn’t lack any specific things, which is impressive for the price. Bear in mind it also updates rankings DAILY instead of weekly like Ahrefs. It’s a shame you don’t get cannibalization reports like in Semrush’s renowned Guru plan.
LinkMiner
Please, don’t get tired of the word “basic” because we’ll use it a lot in this Mangools test. Honestly, LinkMiner is as basic as it gets; oops, there it is again. This backlink analysis tool displays your backlinks and analyzes your backlink profile, assigning different scores.
The most notable ones are Citation and Trust Flow. The former shows the level of influence of the ranking URL based on its number of backlinks. On the other hand, Trust Flow signals the URL’s strength based on the quality of these backlinks. Similar, but not the same.
We’ve found a few more metrics that spiked our interest. There’s the number of external links for each backlink and anchors that lead to the analyzed domain. Mangools also has this LS or Link Strength parameter, which is based on some of the factors we just mentioned.

Compared to Semrush which we tested many times, LinkMiner shows fewer referring domains and active backlinks for our domain. This is likely because of a smaller backlink database; understandable for the company’s scope. Luckily, there’s more to it.
You can find new and lost backlinks, discover Follow/NoFollow links, and dig out deleted backlinks. LinkMiner, however, lacks a link-building tool that could be used to directly request a backlink from another domain. Semrush has it and we love every aspect of it.
You’ve also noticed the lack of a backlink audit function. We found this a huge missed opportunity because repairing your backlink profile by removing broken links and fixing anchors means a lot to SEO. Mangools is, therefore, still underwhelming.
SERPChecker
Let’s move on with SERPChecker. This tool permeates Mangools and appears when using KWFinder, for example. You can access it from the right-hand portion of the screen. SERPChecker was examined in our Mangools test simply because it shows the search results you’ll see when searching for the analyzed keyword.

You can see both mobile and desktop search results based on the country you’ve selected. When we analyzed the “SEO Tools” keyword, we received a list of the top-ranking domains. Clicking on the “Snapshot” tab shows you the first SERP on Google; a nice add-on.
The best-ranking domains in the results are accompanied by numerous parameters. We mentioned CF and TF but there’s LPS that shows the link strength. Interestingly, the top-ranking domains had an LPS of 61 to 91, so not all are particularly “strong.”
SERPChecker comes with WPR or Website Popularity Ranking that displays the popularity of the domain based on the number of unique visitors and pages viewed each month. In SERPChecker settings, you’ll find the option to use Moz metrics; not those from Mangools.

As highlighted in our Moz Pro test, the tool’s accuracy is high enough for rank tracking. We mention these because the data is derived from MozRank. SERPChecker is an interesting tool for a more comprehensive overview of Google SERPs and features; not much more.
Our real-world tests of Mangools were all but heavily reliant on SERPChecker. Instead, we used Semrush for in-depth analyses and Mangools was there for quick keyword research or checking our domains’ rankings. Although, Semrush was better in these aspects too.
SiteProfiler
SiteProfiler is titled Site Explorer and it’s the last tool we’ll analyze in our Mangools review for 2026. This isn’t really a “tool”. Instead, it functions like Domain Overview or Domain Research found in… well, “millions” of other SEO software.
So, what does it do?

It spews out all the site-related information, such as:
- Domain authority
- Page authority
- Citation/Trust flow
- WPR (Website Popularity Rank)
- Referring IPs
- Facebook shares
- Active/lost backlinks
- Competitors
- Top referring domains, and more.
SiteProfiler looks stunning. It offers easy-to-read information for every domain. From here, you can expand some of the sections by using Mangools’ dedicated tools. For example, in the Backlinks section, you can explore more backlinks by clicking “Show All Backlinks.”

You’ll be transferred to LinkMiner for that analysis. The last “Competitors” section is one of our favorites. It shows 12 of your competitors and their WPR, referring IPs, Facebook shares, and the number of shared keywords. It’s a nifty little table that lets you know who you’re fighting against.
Beware – Mangools Lack These Features!
Using Mangools for a year or so was pleasurable enough for basic needs; again the word basic. However, doing more for your website often beckons advanced tools for auditing, content marketing, local SEO, and more. Unfortunately, Mangools is very limited.
As you’ve noticed during this review, we haven’t mentioned that Mangools can’t audit your website. That’s because it can’t. It also can’t perform a backlink audit like capable backlink tools, which could divulge broken backlinks and assign a backlink score based on, let’s say, backlink toxicity.
We love the presence of cannibalization reports in Semrush; they’re not here. On top of that, Mangools’ lack of content marketing can be painful at times. You can’t proofread or analyze your pages for “deficiencies” in keyword optimization or grammar. Quite irritating.
There’s another problem; weak competitive analysis. You won’t find direct head-to-head features like a backlink gap or keyword gap, both of which we use daily in other SEO tools.
Ease of Use & Interface
We often say that the lack of features begets simplicity, which rings true for the ease of use and interface. Mangools look stunning. Fresh. Brave. Its tools are easy to set up and you can get started in minutes even if you’re a total newbie. No offense. Every tool is gorgeous.
From comprehensive keyword lists in KWFinder to clear-cut information in SiteProfiler. Using Mangools is a joy. Adding to the overall feeling is how snappy the platform feels. Keywords are analyzed in seconds, even when you’re searching by domain, which should take more.

We love its SiteProfiler the most, as we’ve discovered just how quick it is at spewing out basic site information. Frankly, we used it more often than we expected. Another thing to add is that each report can be exported to PDF and printed in three clicks.
The company also offers a small browser extension; it’s very simple. The SEO extension lets you quickly analyze keywords, backlinks, and on-page SEO of the page you’re on. Rank-tracking is also there with information fetched from Majestic and Moz.

This extension is free and complements Chrome and Firefox browsers ideally if you want a quick glance at the website’s core statistics. Mangools’ site offers detailed guides for each of its 5 SEO tools. However, our experience shows that these aren’t needed, at least if you know a thing or two about SEO.
Everything is so simple, smooth, and clear, making Mangools a top choice for beginners.
Mangools Free SEO Tools Review
Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Mangools have one thing in common; they offer a plethora of free tools. Our list of the top 20 free SEO tools contains all four. However, Mangools is by no means the best because it offers cut-down versions of its 5 tools discussed in the review.
Once you make an account, you’ll be able to use the Free+ plan. It’s free for 10 days, during which, you can track 50 keywords daily and enjoy more generous limits. After the first 10 days expire, you’re reverted to a “normal” free plan with limits far less generous.

Having tested its free plan for a while, we’ve noticed that you can:
- Research 5 keywords daily in KWFinder (including search keywords by domain)
- Track 1 website in SERPWatcher
- Use SERPChecker, LinkMiner, and SiteProfiler normally.
The last one was a surprise. For some reason, we could perform as many backlink and domain analyses as we wanted, despite all three tools having “0/0”, implying we don’t have enough “credit” to use them. Mangools isn’t all about these limits in the free plan.
You also get fewer keyword suggestions and information overall. This would be “okay” if Mangools’ tools weren’t already on the underwhelming side. We prefer Semrush’s free plan for that matter. Yes, it’s limited but the scope of information you get is greater.
Customer Support of Mangools
The customer service of Mangools is a pleasant surprise. But then, this is a small company, so it’s easier to tackle a smaller user base. We’ve got in touch with the company many times during our Mangools test and the live chat option was super quick and helpful.
If you’re not in a hurry, email support is always there; albeit, it’s almost as quick. Mangools includes many resources on the site to get you started or aid certain issues. Complete SEO guides for each tool are also there, so you don’t have to wander around, blind as a bat.
We’re fond of its blog where you can find tons of handy articles to up your SEO game. You won’t find SEO tool reviews, though, so if you’re interested in an SE Ranking analysis, as it’s a close rival price-wise, our site will help you more. Not that we’re advertising or anything…
Summary
Okay, so the summary of our Mangools review for 2026 is that we have nothing inherently bad to say about it. It works and is useful for – again – basic SEO. Mangools’s best tool is KWFinder, closely followed by SERPWatcher; two of our favorites. But is it enough for you?
That’s a good question. At the starting price of $29.90, Mangools is surely a hot deal, but simultaneously underwhelming because of its “tight” limits. At the price of $44.90/mo, it’s solid but very close to SE Ranking which offers more and is superior in every way.
The Agency plan at $89.90 is great too but if you pay about $25 more, you can get Semrush Pro and vastly expand your SEO horizons.
As you can see, Mangools falls short of greatness despite its pocket-friendly prices. It lacks a lot; site audits and content marketing are only some of its shortcomings. Our advice is to skip Mangools or at least use it to “bounce off” if you’re just getting started with the whole SEO game.
If you skip it right away, Semrush and SE Ranking will provide a lot more and set you straight on the path to success. Henceforth, these two are our sincere recommendations and ideal alternatives to Mangools.
