We first mentioned the Solio Solar iPod charger back in November, but Pocket Lint’s review of the unit is none too favorable (less favorable than our review last month, even). Garnering a mere 6 of 10, the review clashes with the company’s claim of a “fully-charged unit within eight hours,” saying it’s closer to six days. As if that weren’t enough, on the seventh day you must wait eagerly as it transfers the freshly stored sun juice to your iPod. Yours for just $100, or enough scratch to buy 1,279.6 kilowatt hours of honest, coal-fired power.

Keep in mind that Pocket-Lint is in the UK, though, the world’s first country that floats entirely in a threatening cloud.
