Anker’s Sleep A30 might be my favorite sleep-focused wireless earbuds to date, but they’ve got competition incoming, and it’s from, well… Anker.
Announced as part of IFA 2026, the Sleep Pro 4 are an upgrade to Anker’s existing sleep wireless earbuds lineup in a few key ways. Arguably the most important: the addition of new sleep-tracking features. Anker says the Sleep 4 Pro can constantly monitor your sleep throughout the night, paying attention to metrics like sleep stages and heart rate, and then adjust the experience as needed. If you’re fading out of a sleep stage too early, for example, the Sleep 4 Pro could automatically queue up some pink noise to nudge you back into a deeper sleep.
The idea reminds me of similar sleep wireless earbuds that I’ve used, especially the NextSense Smartbuds, which have EEGs onboard to monitor your sleep in real time. I wasn’t super impressed with how the alleged adjustments that the NextSense wireless earbuds made while I slept, but just because I didn’t notice a huge difference doesn’t mean that Anker can’t make adaptive sleep sounds feel more personalized.
Sleep 4 Pro also have a screen on their charging case. Usually I find touchscreens on a case to be a bit useless, but in this case, it’s something people using wireless earbuds for sleep might take advantage of. Sometimes when I’m using wireless earbuds for sleep, I want to adjust the volume or the type of noise, but I hate pulling open my phone in the middle of the night—it’s bright, full of stressful notifications, and it wakes me up.
I’ll be curious to see whether the fit is as good as the Sleep A30—an earbud that’s flat and ergonomic is a must-have for side sleepers like myself—and given Anker’s past successes, I’m hopeful on that front.
The Sleep 4 Pro will be available in two colors, Lunar White and Mist Blue, and will cost $349 when they debut in the U.S. this November.
