Come next year, Disney will bring Star Wars and Marvel together in the five-part Hope Assembles event comic. But there’s more to the teamup and that, only not on the page: the two properties will also collide in the world of Lego.
As revealed by Kevin Smith during New York Comic-Con, fans can submit their creations on the Lego Ideas website across the categories of vehicles, characters, and scenes. At the moment, Lego said it’s accepting “many characters and vehicles” from the franchises, and it’s allowing real or virtual creations for entry. The three categories are taking submissions until Thursday, November 12, with fan voting going live starting Tuesday, December 8 and winners revealed in 2027. You can read the full set of rules here.

Speaking of Hope Assembles, Marvel revealed new variant covers and a small preview of the book during one of its Saturday NYCC panels. Drawn by the likes of Kaare Andrews, Alex Ross, and Dan Jurgens, these variants bring Star Wars and Marvel icons together, from Vader with the Infinity Gauntlet and fighting Doctor Doom to Spider-Man and Luke Skywalker jumping into action. The many variants will fall into seven categories, from the main interconnected covers by series artist David Marquez to covers recreating scenes from A New Hope or have Marvel characters fighting with (or against) their galactic counterpart.
Star Wars/Marvel: Hope Assembles from Smith and Marquez begins in January.
