Slo-mo footage of wet dogs shaking themselves dry are a dime a dozen online. But wet dogs and wet hedgehogs and rats? Now that’s something new, and we can thank BBC Earth Productions for this mesmerizing footage.

As we’ve always kind of known, while many animals can shake to help dry off, dogs are still the best at it. In just four seconds a canine can shake its entire body 16 to 20 times getting rid of over 70 percent of the water on it. They put hedgehogs, rats, and especially humans to shame, but that’s good because no one likes that wet dog smell.
