ABC Family is debuting crime show Stitchers in June, and it has two elements of note: some majorly science-fiction leanings (“We work for a secret government agency that hacks into the brains of corpses and reads their memories”) and a star whose acting skills seem a little … uneven, maybe?

Unless that’s some kind of deliberate character choice? Well, thank goodness the show, which underwent some retooling as recently as January, requires her to wear a unitard. A wet unitard.

ABC Family’s paranormal-leaning summer line-up also includes reality show Monica the Medium, which “provides an inside look at Monica, a junior at Penn State navigating friends, family, relationships — and the fact that she’s a medium and can talk to dead people.”
