Star Wars: Rogue One
Making Star Wars has a new report on what it claims to be another villain from the movie—a new character, rather than a familiar face. The figure is apparently a high ranking member of the Empire. an older male who wears “a huge majestic white cape with a slit in the back” and has a notable sidearm.
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2
Comedian Steve Agee is allegedly involved in the movie in some capacity—discovered thanks to the fact that Agee had to skip an appearance on the Doug Loves Movies podcast to travel for work on the sequel. [/Film]
Descender
Jesse Wigutow has been hired to write the adaptation of the Jeff Lemire-Dustin Nguyen comic book series about a young android on the run. [THR]
Revival
Josh Boone has been tapped to write an adaptation of Stephen King’s 2014 novel for his next film. The book was about a preacher who, following the tragic loss of his family, turns to experimentation with electrical currents to heal people. [Deadline]
Deadpool
Tim Miller discusses the movie (and how great IMAX is) in this IMAX-branded featurette.
Ratchet and Clank
Here’s two goofy new TV spots for the video game adaptation.
Supergirl/The Flash
Grant Gustin has posted a copy of the script for the crossover episode between the shows, revealing its title as “Worlds Finest”.
The lack of punctuation might actually be significant. It may, in fact, indicate how Supergirl and the Flash meet—by crossing between different worlds.
Comicbook.com notes that while “World’s Finest” is a common descriptor for DC heroes teaming up, “Worlds Finest” was the title of a New 52 comic about heroes from parallel Earths working together on the “prime” Earth. A reference to the DC Cinematic Universe being a Multiverse, like the comics, was recently cut from the DC movies CW special TV show, but it looks like this could be a hint at the Multiverse officially becoming a thing for DC’s live-action properties. (Which in turn means the TV heroes could meet the movie characters some day.)
The Walking Dead
Andrew Lincoln teases the arrival of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan on the show:
This is probably one of the most important castings other than Rick. He’s a beloved fan-favorite, but also a huge foil to Rick and his family. Everybody needs a good baddie, and this is the one that a lot of people have been waiting for for quite some time.
While Tom Payne praises the control of his incoming character, Paul “Jesus” Monroe:
What I like about him is his control. He is physically and mentally capable, but is careful not to reveal his strengths too quickly. He has the measure of people pretty quickly upon meeting them and is always thinking about the best way to handle any situation he finds himself in. I’m very much looking forward to exploring the character further with the audience. It’s an exciting road ahead.

The Exorcist

Once Upon A Time

Young Justice
Don’t get your hopes up, but former show producer Greg Wiseman says if fans want to see more episodes, they should watch the show now that it’s landed on Netflix.
