Wrap your weekend up with a great little short with a twist that will teach as all a little bit more about patience, kindness, and sheep herding. Watch it now!

Touching, no? We love the mysticism of Eyrie. It's so rare that we get to see this kind of Western supernatural experimentation. The short was animated by David Wolter, a CalArts student. It certainly impressed a few people — according to Cartoon Brew, Wolter was recently hired by Dreamworks.

Set in the wasteland of Chernobyl, Anomaly is a collection found-footage clips following a group of students who are attempting to record the changes wrought by the plant accident. It's an interesting concept, but is it too soon after the Japanese nuclear disaster? We leave this question in your hands. The film is seeking crowdfunding here. [Via Quiet Earth]

A group of 4 young students wants to investigate the flora and fauna in the "Exclusion Zone" because of the many rumors about mutated animals and plants. This is the area that is evacuated during the disaster in 1986 and left behind as an abandoned wasteland. After weeks of research and preparations, the group is ready to enter the "Zone." But once they arrived at the entry point of the Zone, things become more complicated. The guards forbid the group to continue but they cannot say why. This is the reason to sneak into the Zone without permission and find out what's going on. Where do all these strange things come from? Do we know what's really happening out there? Do we need to be afraid of what is coming?
