The Entire East Coast Looks Like It's Under a Massive White Blanket

Did you have a hard time getting to work today? Probably so, if you live anywhere from the Tennessee Valley all the way up to New England. Just look at this image from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center—everything is white.

The winter storm shows no signs of stopping until the entire eastern seaboard is blanketed in as much as seven inches of snow. Thanks to the Heavy Lake effect, the Great Lakes region should get even more; NASA says upwards of two feet. So fire up Netflix, make sure you've got plenty of whiskey on hand for warmth, and revel in that inevitable snow day. [Goddard Flickr]
