The European Space Agency Is Being Littered With Pacman-Style Art

Stroll around the European Space Agency's operations center in Darmstadt, Germany, and you'll see more than rocket science. Appearing on the sides of buildings is a series of artworks inspired by 80s arcade games.

Installed by the French artist Invader, the pieces will continue to pop up on buildings and perhaps even in the International Space Station, according to the ESA. Invader is well known for arcade game-style street art, depicting everything from Street Fighter in Hong Kong to Mega Man in Paris. This new work with the ESA takes a fanciful scientific slant, though, with pictures showing Pacman chomping the solar system and aliens communicating with Earth. We can't wait to see what the next examples look like. [ESA]
