Remember Rome Sweet Rome, the Reddit thread about time travel and war that was so fantastic it inspired a movie deal? Well, the writer behind the long and spirited discussion, Prufrock451 is at it again. And this time he’s picked a pretty excellent question.

He piped up in answer to this ask Reddit question:

“If Mars had the exact same atmosphere as pre-industrial Earth, and the most advanced species was similar to Neanderthals, how do you think we’d be handling it right now?”

What follows is a fantastic response, but is it good enough for a follow-up feature film deal?
