We all admire the crazy/sexy fashions of Star Trek, Barbarella and Buck Rogers. But the era of Moon landings and space dreams gave rise to tons of amazing fashions. There was spacesuit chic, robot glamour and alien loveliness.
The Space Age Planet Tumblr collects some of the coolest images of space age clothing and makeup, creating a nonstop flood of awesome. Basically, it’s our new favorite Tumblr, and probably a great place to kill a good chunk of your Friday. The blog collects fashion photography from the 1950s through the 1980s, with special emphasis on the 60s. And the occasional bit of 1990s and 2000s retro-space glam.
