Designed by Yves B har, the Learning Shoe uses data collection to create personalized footwear. Chips on the sole of the shoe gather data on the shape of your foot and the way you walk. Once you've been around the block a few times in the yellow trainer shoes, return to the shoe store, where the chips are removed and used to design a new pair of shoes in another color, form, or material — ergonomically customized using your personal walking data. But don't ditch your favourite trainers just yet: the Learning Shoe is still a concept product. -RD
