As a follow-up to the Lego Simpsons house, one of the most impressive sets the company has ever released, Lego is giving fans of the animated series another one of Springfield’s most iconic backdrops: an astonishingly detailed miniature version of Apu’s Kwik-E-Mart.
Available come may for $200, the 2,179-piece Kwik-E-Mart set includes a tiny Apu Nahasapeemapetilon minifig, police chief Wiggum, Homer, Marge, Bart, and even Snake who’s ready to hold up the convenience store again and again. The set opens up to reveal the inside of the Kwik-E-Mart complete with a Squishee machine, shelves stocked with products, magazines, and comic books appearing in the TV show, but we haven’t spotted Apu’s signature scum bucket with fly just yet.
