I mean yeah, he has a shotgun, but the first revealed Terminator Genisys figure from NECA could just as easily double as an "Old Man Arnie" figure, regardless of the fact he's meant to be a Killer Robot. In fact, now I just kind of want an Arnold Schwarzenegger toy line. Think of all the Gubernatorial variants!
After a few weeks of teasing, NECA have finally revealed the first two figures in their Genisys line of 7" inch action figures: the Guardian T-800 shown above, and Byung-hun Lee's T-1000 disguised as a cop.
Although the T-800 just comes with a shotgun and an amazing 'looks like Old Man Arnie' action feature, the T-1000 comes with a little more: An alternate head and chest piece to recreate being damaged by gunfire, and a sword arm attachment. Swanky!
Not gonna lie, I hope there's a few more figures on the horizon — as good as these are, you can't have a Terminator line without a hojillion of the metallic blighters showing up.
The T-800 and T-1000 will be out in July, for around $20-25.
