The New TMNT Movie Rap Song Has Nothing To Do With Vanilla Ice

I don't mean that as a judgment, just a statement of fact. "Shell Shocked," the new song accompanying the new live-action Ninja Turtles movie, was composed by Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, and Ty Dolla $ign and produced by Kill The Noise and Madsonik. And it's pretty damned good.

It's also far more Ninja Turtle-specific than "Ninja Rap," the magnum opus Vanilla Ice created for the 1991 TMNT movie Secret of the Ooze, so that's nice. But to be totally fair, it must be noted that "Shell-Shocked" features not a single instance of a white person screaming "Ninja, Ninja, RAP! Ninja, Ninja, RAP! GO GO GO GO!" in it, and that's definitely not something you can say about "Ninja Rap." Here, compare the two songs and see for yourself.
