Emily over at PicturePhoning.org thinks that the SpyDetector, which supposedly can locate and detect any kind of hidden camera, might be the only way to keep people from using cameraphones where they’re not supposed to. We have no idea how this works, or if it really works at all. The only articles we could find on the SpyDetector weren’t particularly enlightening, saying only that it uses, “uses proprietary optics and laser technology,” and “emits an invisible detection beam that spots hidden still or video cameras from as far as 50 feet away.”
