The next episode of Sailor Moon Crystal isn't the only things fans of the Sailor Senshi have to get excited about this weekend: Viz Media have just announced that they will be streaming the first four episodes of their new English dubbed remaster of the original Sailor Moon anime back-to-back Friday evening!

Viz media are holding a 'Moonlight Slumber Party' event to celebrate the launch of the series, which will be livestreamed via their Youtube channel as well as on Hulu and Neon Alley from 11PM EDT/8PM PDT this Friday, September 5th - as well as the first four episodes of the Anime's first season, there'll be Q&A's with the new cast, and chances for viewers to win prizes by answering Sailor Moon trivia questions.

Although Viz Media have been releasing the original Japanese versions of Sailor Moon online for a while now, this is the first time episodes of the remaster will be available with the new English voice cast - and in the case of Episode 2, Punishment Awaits: the House of Fortune is the Monster Mansion, the first time it's shown in English full stop. When DiC Entertainment ran Sailor Moon's dub in the 90's, the episode was cut from the running and never released.

Presumably Viz will continue to release episodes on a weekly basis via Hulu and Neon Alley just as they do with the subtitled Japanese episodes now, but for now get ready to binge on a whole lot of Sailor Moon this weekend!
