Meet the Surinam Toad, a five-inch-long amphibian that lives in South America. Once the female toad’s eggs are fertilized by the male, they embed in her back, which transforms into a honeycomb-like lattice. Once the tadpoles fully mature, they make their escape. This is when the horror begins.
