Engadget says otherwise! Scoffing at CR's scientific caliper test, which found the two colors to be exactly 0.370 inches thick, Engadget deployed the highly scientific "floating straw thing" test, which indicates the white version is a infinitesimally porkier. "Should anyone give a shit?"

My friend wants a white iPhone, and she wants to put it in an OtterBox case.

According to the OtterBox website (on the product page):

"Not compatible with WHITE iPhone 4. Due to slight changes in the form factor for the white Apple iPhone 4 released this week, the OtterBox Defender Series, Commuter Series and Impact Series cases will not work with this new device."

So yeah, she does give a shit, Sam.
