The Zombie Movie It Took $70 To Make

The lowest of the low budget zombie films, Colin, actually managed to churn out a few good scenes while keeping the budget under $70 — take that, Blair Witch Project. Utilizing facebook favors, raw meat and one talented makeup artist, Colin is pretty impressive for such a cheap production.

From the sounds of it, the only special help filmmaker Marc Price received was make-up artist Michelle Webb, who worked on X-Men: The Last Stand. Her work is apparent in the infected close ups, but besides that Price relied heavily on favors and his own two hands to bring together this little flick.

It may look a little homemade at times but all in all it’s still more believable than Land Of The Dead.. Let’s hope this inspires more low-fi science fiction and horror films.
