During Pacific Rim’s opening montage, protagonist Raleigh Beckett briefly laments that Humanity has turned their fear of the monstrous Kaiju into the cute toys seen above. But now you can own these adorable little Vinyl figures, so honestly who cares what a fictional character thinks of them? Gimme Gimme Gimme.

Topless Robot revealed the pack of Vinyl toys will be one of NECA’s convention exclusives this summer, making their debut at San Diego Comic Con. The 5 toys — early Jaegers Romeo Blue and Horizon Brave, with 3 Kaiju: Trespasser, Karloff and Hardship — are around 3 inches tall.

Sure, you can get the hyper-detailed NECA action figures already, and they too were in the movie, as you can see in the still above, but these little guys look so adorable. Even with the limited colour palette — which makes them look a lot more toylike than the actual toys we have already — the stylisation looks great. I kind of want a series of Vinyls for the other Jaegers and Kaiju now.

No pricing was reveals for the figures, but we’ll probably learn a little more closer to SDCC. Gird your wallets in anticipation!
