These Two Great ’80s Toy Lines Are Even Better When Combined

The folks at Super7 have a soft spot for all the awesome-at-the-time toys that made the ‘80s so great. That’s why they teamed up with Funko for that Jaws play set, and why they’ve mashed up He-Man and M.U.S.C.L.E. figures for these San Diego Comic-Con exclusive sets.

If you’re not familiar with the M.U.S.C.L.E. line, it featured hundreds of tiny unpainted figures, like monsters and wrestlers, that kids could collect. They were cheap, tradable, and small enough to smuggle anywhere in your pocket—so of course they were a big hit. And the Masters of the Universe, with characters like He-Man and Skeletor, was one of the most sprawling and popular toy brands of the ‘80s.

It only makes sense for the two to join forces, but it’s unfortunate that these M.O.T.U.S.C.L.E. sets, featuring twelve Masters of the Universe characters in all, will only be available at the Super7 booth at San Diego Comic-Con. There’s an entire internet full of grown-up ‘80s kids happy to keep collecting them. [Super7 via Toy News International]
