My word, it looks like 2015 is going to be a year of wallet-based agony for Star Wars fans, as Hot Toys have unveiled yet another entry in their rapidly expanding line - and this time it's everyone's favourite Bounty Hunter, Boba Fett.

Despite a sub 20-minute screen time, Boba has long been a Star Wars fan favourite - and especially one of toy collectors, ever since he was originally planned to shoot your eye out with his spring-loaded jetpack back in the 80's. But now we've got our first look at what is probably the most detailed figure of the Bounty Hunter yet - and the biggest Star Wars toy Hot Toys have revealed so far, as at 45cm Boba is actually 1/4th Scale, instead of the 1/6th scale we've seen for Han, Chewie and the Stormtroopers.

Based specifically on his look from Return of the Jedi, Boba comes with all the prerequisite alternate hands and blaster accessories (even a destroyed version of his rifle after it came into close contact with Luke's lightsaber) you'd expect, but the niftiest touch might be the themed base he comes with - designed to look like part of one of Jabba's skiffs:

Nifty!

Boba is set to rocket into the side of a sail barge be released in Q3 of 2015 - although Hot Toys have yet to confirm a price, expect a high bounty to be placed on your wallet.
