Hey, if you’re going to advertise an animated film in Japan, why not release footage reminiscent of its greatest anime director?

This trailer is actually a single scene, where Moana (a spunky young heroine) discovers her magical bond with the ocean (i.e., nature), and is just a visual delight (something Hayao Miyazaki’s films do not lack). Call me crazy, but I think Disney’s newest animated feature might do all right in Japan. Unfortunately, it won’t open there until next March, while we’ll get to see it on November 23.
