As far as iconic ’80s kids movies go, it doesn’t get much better than The Goonies. In just 2 years, this pop-cultural phenomenon will turn 30! So, let’s honor Chunk, Sloth, Mikey, Data and Mouth with the ultimate tribute…an official Lego Goonies set.
This film had everything! Mobsters, pirates, buried treasure, ORVs with bullet holes! All set against the wet and scenic Oregon coast. This Cuusoo project by Lyonsblood will focus on several interconnecting sets that chronicle the gang’s adventures while searching for One-Eyed Willie’s treasure (sorry, but that euphemism still makes me giggle). There’s also minifigs representing the main characters. I know a Mama Fratelli minifig has definitely been missing from my life.
