This Sleek Monolithic Microwave Keeps Buttons To a Minimum

Microwaves are rarely seen as the focal point of your kitchen, but maybe they should be? German appliance maker Caso sure thinks so. The company’s new HCMG25 microwave features a giant black mirror glass front panel with a cleverly integrated red LED display that pushes all the buttons to the side to help preserve its minimalist aesthetic.

But it’s not all about looks. The HCMG25 also boasts a 25 liter capacity so you can cram a mountain of cold pizza inside, and hot air convection function that heats to 460°F so said pizza doesn’t come out completely soggy. You’ll be able to snatch one up in a couple of weeks for about $270, so you’ve got plenty of time to stock up on Windex—since this thing is most likely not just a fingerprint magnet, but a fingerprint black hole.
