Now that director Taika Waititi is on board to direct the third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok, we’re starting to hear lots more about the movie. We’ve heard rumors that Hulk will join Thor, and apparently that’s true, because a new report confirms that along with a ton of other info.

Birth Movies Death has all the Ragnorak rumors you can handle. According to their sources, Waititi (best known for the comedy What We Do In The Shadows) will be lightening up the supposedly ultra dark script by Christopher Yost. (Ragnarok, after all, is basically a Norse apocalypse.)

The rumored plot is that Thor and Hulk, somehow, battle the Valkyries and potentially join up with Valkyrie, a Marvel super heroine who has been seen alongside Doctor Strange and the Defenders, but in different contexts. She’s kind of similar to Sif, and the MCU already has a great Sif, so why introduce Valkyrie? It could be because her primary adversary is The Enchantress, a character that’s long been rumored for MCU prominence.

You also have to think Ragnarok will be the place we wrap up the storyline where Loki has taken over the throne of Asgard, posing as his father Odin.

To be clear, while BMD is a solid source here, there are certainly lots of missing pieces to this puzzle. When we find out how all those pieces fit, the events of this film will reportedly be the most direct influence on Avengers: Infinity War Part 1. Which is good news for Thor, as his last two movies are very much on the fringes of the overall MCU story.
