Travel the World with These Interactive 8-Bit City Maps

Do you ever wish you lived in a video game? But not like a fancy Xbox game or anything like that. Do you ever wish you lived in Legend of Zelda except with all the comforts of home? If yes, then Brett Camper’s 8-bit city maps are for you.

So far, Camper’s mapped out 15 cities around the world using data from OpenStreetMap, NES-era graphics and a whole lot of creativity. The maps are almost as interactive as your standard Google Maps except everything looks like it was rendered on an 8-bit console. You can almost hear the blippy music as you cruise around Manhattan or through the streets of Paris in pixelated glory. Now if only this thing had Street View… [Untapped Cities]
