Undersea Yacht Submerges When Your Sunburn Starts Hurting

It's like something from a James Bond film. You can just see Daniel Craig jumping effortlessly from the land-dock onto the deck of a yacht gliding away slowly, and as he hurries into the cabin the yacht submerges, bubbles rising.

While firmly in the concept stage, the undersea yacht (or U-010 to give it its pretend-real model number) was dreamed up by the type of people who probably think the DUKW is the perfect way to get around a city.

Should the U-010 actually be made, its designers would make it 66.5m long, and styled just like any normal yacht—except for its unique ability to run on diesel and then electric propulsion. I can't help but want one, after seeing the photos below. [Seatec via Born Rich]

Sorry, I'd see the original cool James Bond, Sean Connery, jumping to the desk. Just like I'd see the original Q, Desmond Llewelyn showing Jimmy how it works, and not his replacement, R (John Cleese). My James Bond would do this without disturbing a single hair on his toupee.
