Vin Diesel is diving back into science fiction movies with a vengeance — with a strange new feature called Soldiers of the Sun. Which is apparently about Orcs that live in Earth, in the future. Ooook.
THR is reporting that Vin Diesel and writer Arash Amel have teamed up to make the movie Soldiers of the Sun. Here is the synopsis:
Sun is set in a post-apocalyptic future and focuses on a squad of soldiers that searches for a fabled city of gold while on a tour of duty in Mexico, liberating it from an alien race known as Orcs.
The film is being peddled as a ensemble movie with the potential to be another Fast and Furious-type ongoing series. After all, everybody loves Orcs.
