You know in The Temple of Doom when the mine cart’s brake gives out and obviously everyone is going to shoot out the side of a mountain and die? This is sort of that, except on purpose and in Austria.
What we have here is a single-pipe alpine coaster in Mieders, Austria, and our hero has chosen to not use his brakes at all. Though the ride is normally not all that intense, the out-of-control-no-slowing-me-down version is, um, less so. We’ve seen similar alpine coasters before, but this one strikes us as especially nuts, being a single track, bereft of any safety netting, and voluntarily brakeless. [Reddit via Geekosystem]
