If you're not familiar with Daisy Ridley, the only new female cast member announced so far for Star Wars: Episode VII, here is a chance to get to know her. She stars as a captive woman in the short thriller Blue Season.

Directed by Lee Jones, Blue Season was made for the Sci-Fi London 48 Hour Film Challenge. That means that the crew received a series of prompts and then had to complete this film in just 48 hours. So this is what Ridley can do when asked to act on the fly without a chance to further develop her character.
