In addition to voicing Fred from Scooby Doo, Abu from Aladdin, Nibbler from Futurama, Megatron from Transformers, and about a zillion other animated characters, veteran voice actor Frank Welker provided sundry big cat snarls for The Lion King simply by yelling into a garbage can.
