YouTube’s predictably awesome lavapix shows us how a volcano consumes a can of Coca Cola: the slow, oozy, melty way. And for some reason I’m finding hard to explain, I just can’t look away.
As explained in the video’s “About” section, the first can had a small hole punched in it for hopeful geyser effect, while the second was un-tampered-with. Both succumbed to 2,000 degrees of hot lava in seconds. Thank goodness there are people in this world willing to get dangerously close to hot lava, just to bring us a few seconds of joy.
