Technology—the breaker of chains, the breaker of backs. It is everything both right and wrong with humanity today. But today, I want to focus on the good side of things, specifically the small things developers might have put into a product that, if you dig around long enough, turn out to be surprisingly useful.
So what have you discovered mucking around in the settings and utilties folders on your phone or computer?
Maybe it’s that fact that if you hunt through your iPhone keyboards you can get to a Japanese keyboard that lets you send old school emojis like (๑・̑◡・̑๑) or ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). (Settings > General > Keyboards > Japanese Kana, then hit this guy below)
Or maybe it’s the ability to create a “God Mode” folder on a Windows machine that allows you access to the key OS settings and functions.
