In the melancholy short film Bibo, a robot goes about the same routine every day, setting up its ice cream cart for children who exist only in its memory.
Anton Chistiakov and Mikhail Dmitriev wrote, directed, and produced Bibo. While the concept of a robot outliving its humans isn’t a new one, this short does a nice job of capturing Bibo’s wordless emotions and hinting at the events in the robot’s past.
