Video artist Anthony Discenza has made a Heston megamix “Charlton Heston: The Future has Already Been Written,” a movie-length video collage of the actor’s most depressingly futuristic films all spliced over each other. Says Discenza of the above footage:
This an excerpt from a recent project that fuses Planet of the Apes, Omega Man, and Soylent Green. The 3 films (in their entirety) are visually alternated with each other every 1/10 of a second, while the soundtracks are layered simultaneously.
You will feel your brain spasm approximately 20 seconds in. You mutants! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! Soylent Green is people!
